Prolife AGM and Banquet Holy Spirit Parish Saskatoon April 6, 2024

I am honoured to bring you greetings from the Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly and the 10 thousand-plus Knights here in this province of Saskatchewan. It is great to be among all of you who are here to defend the right to life from conception to natural death.

The Knights of Columbus through the countless acts of Charity affirms the dignity of every person. We stand strong for the ones in the womb who have no voice, we are banded together for the elderly and our most vulnerable, and now we must stand for the special needs community who are the target of the next move to improve our society. The fact that taking someone’s life because they do not fit into our ideal society is not only overwhelming but is sickening that life is not valued or protected. We all must have the courage to let the unborn be born, we all must protect those forced into situations that they are not comfortable with, we must stand up for those unable to make decisions themselves, and most of all we must pray……..pray for your neighbours who think this is okay, pray for the doctors who perform this unjust act of violence, pray for those that feel trapped and are hurting, pray for government leaders that endorse this money-saving initiative, always continue to pray, to stand up and have a voice.

These are trying times that we are living in and I want to thank you for taking the time out of your busy life to bring awareness to this Nationwide problem our society is facing.

May God continue to bless you, bless your work, commitment, and your focused actions.
