In Memoriam: Brother Knight Bart Austin

It is with sadness that the Knights of Columbus Saskatchewan State Council acknowledges the passing of our Brother Knight, Bart Austin, of Council 1517.

As Knights of Columbus, we are united by our Catholic faith and our shared commitment to Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. The passing of a brother Knight is a loss felt throughout our Order, reminding us of the bonds of faith and brotherhood that unite Knights across Saskatchewan and beyond.

On behalf of the Saskatchewan State Council, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Bart’s family, friends, fellow council members, and all those who mourn his passing.

At times like these, we are reminded that our fraternity extends beyond our local councils. We are one brotherhood in Christ, called to support one another through prayer, compassion, and service. As we remember Bart, we ask our brother Knights throughout Saskatchewan to keep him and his loved ones in their prayers.

May the Lord welcome Bart into His heavenly kingdom and grant comfort and peace to his family and friends. May the hope of the Resurrection strengthen all who grieve, and may our continued prayers be a sign of the faith and fraternity we share.

Prayer for Our Departed Brother

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

May Brother Bart Austin rest in peace, and may perpetual light shine upon him.

Vivat Jesus!
