By Jonathan Rosas | October 28, 2026

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.

It is with deep sadness that the Saskatchewan State Council of the Knights of Columbus announces the passing of Past State Deputy Nestor Trach.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, friends, and brother Knights during this time of sorrow. We are grateful for his service to the Knights of Columbus and for his contribution to our fraternity, which is founded on faith, charity, unity, and fraternity.

As we mourn his passing, we entrust his soul to the loving mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. May the Risen Christ welcome him into His heavenly kingdom, where there is no more suffering or sorrow, but everlasting peace.

We invite all brother Knights and their families throughout Saskatchewan to join us in praying for the eternal repose of his soul and for God’s comfort and strength for all who grieve his loss.

Let us pray.

O God, the Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful, grant to the soul of Your servant, Nestor Trach, the remission of all his sins. Through our prayers and acts of charity, may he obtain the pardon he has always desired. Through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

May the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mother, accompany him to her Son, and may St. Joseph, patron of a happy death, intercede for him.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with his family and all who mourn his passing. May the bonds of brotherhood that unite us in the Knights of Columbus bring comfort and hope during this difficult time.
