A Life Dedicated to Service
Nestor Trach was a cornerstone of both the Humboldt community and the Saskatchewan Knights of Columbus. Throughout his life, he exemplified the core principles of our order Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism.
Nestor served as State Deputy (1995–1997) and went on to serve as President of the Saskatchewan KofC Charitable Foundation (2000–2005). He was also an active educator, former principal of St. Dominic School, and was honored as Humboldt’s Citizen of the Year in 2020 for his relentless volunteerism, from hospital spiritual care to local boards. Nestor was a true exemplar of putting family and community first.
We ask all Brother Knights to keep Nestor’s wife, Liz, and the entire Trach family in their prayers during this difficult time.
“Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.”
Vivat Jesus!
