Prayer Request – Brother John Michael Nikolejsin has passed away

John Michael Nikolejsin, late of Weyburn, SK passed away February 26, 2024, at the age of 87 years.
He was predeceased by his infant son Gerald Allen Nikolejsin; parents, Nick and Carrie Nikolejsin; sister Joan; his in-laws, Fred and Cecilia Thiel; and his brothers-in-law: James, Don (Mary) and Raymond Thiel.
John is survived by his wife Jean; his sons: David (Jacquie), Victoria, BC and family Alison (Simon) and family [Elliot, Nixon], Jocelyn (Kyle), Kristen (Kain); James (Nola), Weyburn, SK and family: Sara (Jason) and family [Harper, Leighton], Erik (Amber) and family [Dax, Hazel, Bo, Chloe], Jeffrey (Caitlin); Dean (KariLynn), Weyburn, SK and family: Rhett (Cassidy), Ty (Sydney); brothers-in-law, Allen (Monica) Thiel, Duanne McDougal; sisters-in-law: Viv, Norma, and Doreen Thiel; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Prayers will be held Friday, March 1, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. from St.Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK with Celebrant Fr. Valentine Amobi. Honorary pallbearers will be all John’s grandchildren & great-grandchildren.Pallbearers are: Rhett Nikolejsin, Ty Nikolejsin, Erik Nikolejsin, JeffNikolejsin, Sara Nikolejsin and Jocelyn Nikolejsin.

Interment will be held at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn, SK with a luncheon to follow at McKenna Hall, Weyburn, SK.

For family and friends so wishing, charitable donations in memory of John may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK, S4T 7T1 or a charity of your choice.
