Terrific event attending the March For Life in Regina today. The overwhelming response of communities that came together to take a stand for this cause was incredible.
It was an honour to be Parade Marshal alongside Brother Louis Roth the Culture Of Life Director for our State Team. Congratulations to the organizers and to Prolife Saskatchewan for their dedicated work to bring awareness to the degradation of life in our country. On behalf of all the Knights Province-wide Thank You.
I am honoured to bring you greetings from the Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly and the 10 thousand-plus Knights here in this province of Saskatchewan. It is great to be among all of you who are here to defend the right to life from conception to natural death. We must always stand united on our beliefs and rights as Canadians.
The Knights of Columbus through the countless acts of Charity affirms the dignity of every person. We stand strong for the ones in the womb who have no voice, we are banded together for the elderly and our most vulnerable, and now we must stand for the special needs community, and the mentally ill who are the target of the next move to improve our society. The fact that taking someone’s life because they do not fit into our ideal society is not only overwhelming but is sickening that life is not valued or protected. We must also advocate for our elderly, the backbone of this free country we live in. We all must have the courage to let the unborn be born, we all must protect those forced into situations that they are not comfortable with, we must stand up for those unable to make decisions themselves, and most of all we must pray……..pray for your neighbours who think this is okay, pray for the doctors who perform this unjust act of violence, pray for those that feel trapped and are hurting with nowhere to turn, pray for government leaders that endorse this money-saving initiative, always continue to pray, to stand up and have a voice.
We are living in these trying times, and I want to thank you for taking the time out of your busy life to bring awareness to this Nationwide March For Life.
May God continue to bless you, bless your work, commitment, and your focused actions. Together we will make a difference.
