Worthy Brother Knights,
This email is to BRING TO YOUR ATTENTION that a directive was sent by Chaplain General Brigadier General Guy Belisle on October 11th asking for restrictions on prayer and reference to God at Remembrance Day Services for this year on Nov. 11th. Due to the major public backlash over the directive, Belisle sent out another directive on Oct. 30th watering down his first directive and allowing prayer for this year as the way it always was done. However, he further said that a committee will be formed to review the directive of October 11th and changes will be made if necessary. We as members of the population of Canada do not want any changes.
Brother Knights……..We need to take action now and stand up!
I am asking all of you to write a letter to the Minister of Defence- Honorable BILL Blair and to the Minister of Veterans’ Affairs Honorable Ginette Petitpas Taylor to express your discord and disgust about the Oct 11th directive and to make it clear that we do not want changes made and that prayer, a scripture reflection, and reference to God be permitted in Remembrance Day services as has been practiced before as Christian Country.
I am telling all Knights to show respect to our country in Patriotism, even if you are not a Fourth Degre member, this nonsense must stop. We are soon going to be living as Persecuted Christians for living out our roots our Catholic Faith. We are slowly losing our voice against such desperate stretches to banish our Saviour from our daily lives. I want each one of you to write a letter today to show our outrage on this matter.

To The Honourable Minister,
As a member of the Knights of Columbus in Saskatchewan, Canada,  I  demand that the directive for no reference to God, scripture and prayer be removed from the plans now, and in the future. We must allow for scripture, prayers, and many references to God in such services for generations to come. This is a must for our Veterans who fought so hard for our freedom, the least we owe is to allow them to worship and pray as they see fit in this Christian Country.
