Emergency Relief – Jaranwala Pakistan
APPEAL FOR FUNDS
Appeal for Emergency Relief for Jaranwala Victims
Pakistan: August 16, 2023, a horrific attack in Jaranwala, district Faisalabad has left us deeply agonized and concerned. A radical mob (Muslims) attacked the Christian community early morning on August 16, vandalizing, ransacking and alighting 21 churches and hundreds of houses. Christians were traumatized nationwide, especially in Jaranwala. Most of the families woke up to a nightmare of chaos in the area & had to run for their lives, barefoot, empty-handed and not even properly dressed. Please follow the link to learn more about the victim: https://capc.life/mob-sets-churches-christian-community-ablaze/
CAPC’s local partner has visited the area in solidarity with the families and heard the heartrending stories of the 10 hours of terror and no one was there to offer Christians protection. The team also carried out the assessment of damages and needs. The people need our prayers and help to rebuild their churches from scratch. CAPC is committed to do everything that we can. We appeal for your generous funds to stand with our Christian brothers and sisters who lost everything to an angry mob for false accusations of Blasphemy.
