State Golf 40th Anniversary Sept 2025
Archbishop O’Neill Council # 8896 received their charter as a Council on May 08, 1985. A celebration of this 40th anniversary was held on Saturday August 23rd.The day began with the Council hosting the State golf tournament at Sherwood Forest GCC, a 10 am shotgun start with 42 golfers hitting the links. The weather co-operated, as the temps were very comfortable & the wind was minimal (no excuses not to have good scores). Golfers attended from Shellbrook, Prince Albert, Lanigan, Davidson, Saskatoon, Yorkton &, of course, Regina. All golfers received a prize during the program. Thanks to all the golfers who attended & to all our terrific prize & hole sponsors. We appreciate your support!
A delicious meal was catered by Reyanne’s Catering.A number of the charter members were able to attend. Years of Service certificates were presented & a keynote address by State Deputy (highest office) Marte Nogot.It was a great evening to visit, reminisce and celebrate! Thank you to all who were able to attend!
