Passing of WSGPD John Marshall’s father and also Passing of Guy Laguesnnse

It is with great sadness that St. Anne’s K of C Council # 8638 announces the passing of Brother Knight Guy Laguesnnse who was a Former Grand Knight  and was the current Treasurer for our Council. He was also a Former District Deputy for District 27. He was a member of the 4th Degree Assembly D’Arcy Mcgee Assembly in Saskatoon and was a Faith Navigator for that Assembly. He was a very humble man who was passionate about theCatholic Faith and the Knights of Columbus in the local and state levels. He will be truly hard to replace as a dedicated member to our Council, Parish, Community and especially to his family. His funeral was held on Friday November 21, 2025 in Saskatoon at St. Anne’s Parish.

 We also pray for the repose of the soul of Mr. Kerr Marshall of St. Thomas, Ontario. He was the father of our Worthy State General Program Director John Marshall and the grandfather of Evan Marshall who are members of St. Anne’s K of C Council #8638. Kerr Marshall was not a member of the Knights of Columbus but we as a Council and as an Order will take our Brother Knights families as a part of our second family and offer our sympathies to them.

May the souls of these two gentlemen and all deceased Brother Knights rest in Eternal Peace.
