Knights of Columbus – 100 Years

One hundred years ago, a priest by the name of Father Michael McGivney, in New Haven, Connecticut USA, recognized the need for widowed women to have access to financial support. Thus, the organization, The Knights of Columbus and the Knights of Columbus Life Insurance Plan were born.

The guiding principles of the KC are Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. To celebrate this milestone, our local Debden Knights of Columbus Council 3456 organized on November 27, 2023, a pancake breakfast. Approximately 100 people were present to partake in this delicious meal.

The Debden Knights appreciate the support of the community in attending this event.
