Today, January 11, 2024, marks the 55th Anniversary (1969) of 10 members from Holdfast Council #2430 joining the Knights of Columbus in the class honouring Jack Fahlman, a long-time member of Regina Council #1247. The entire class numbered close to 50 members.
The day started with mass at St. Mary’s Church on Winnipeg Street in Regina, followed by the ceremonies held at Regina Council #1247 Hall at 1876 Wallace Street and the day wrapped up with a dance in the evening.
The class was the 2nd last one in the province featuring the ‘original old ceremonials’. The last of the old ceremonials was held in the province the following weekend.
