State General Program Director’s Message
Brother Knights:
- Plan early and be prepared ahead of time for events and programs.
- Don’t forget to Work with your Pastor to plan events with your parish.
- Use the 2023-2024 Fraternal Planner as a guide to develop a fraternal plan for the coming year, then modify activities along the way to best fit the needs of the parish and community.
- Consider programs that are able to engage online members and their families.
- Programs to begin planning now:
- Faith – Holy Hour, RSVP and Rosary Program – October is the “Month of the Rosary”.
- Family – Family of the Month, Family Fully Alive, Food for Families and Keep Christ in Christmas.
- Community – Coats for Kids, Global Wheelchair Mission, Soccer Challenge, Hockey Challenge and Basketball Free Throw Championship.
- Life – Mass for People with Special Needs, Aid and Support After Pregnancy (ASAP) and Publicly Pray for Life – 40 Days for Life and Life Chain.
- Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest – New kits are now available to be ordered. If any councils have the old kits, please destroy them.
- Season 2 – Amazing Race Saskatchewan – Second Quarter – October 1 – December 31. For more information and the list of 20 incentive activities, visit kofcsask.com/amazing race.
- Form #10784 – Fraternal Programs Report Form
- All councils are required to use Form #10784 – Fraternal Programs Report Form Online to report your council fraternal programs.
- Complete Form #10784 after each program.
- Any council member may complete this form.
- Form #10784 is available online at kofc.org.
- Please email a copy of this document to programs@kofcsask.com.
- Supreme Forms – Please Submit These Important Annual Forms:
- Form #185 – Report of Officers Chosen for the Term – due June 30.
- Form #365 – Service Program Personnel Report – due July 1.
- Form #1295 – Semi-annual Council Audit Report – due August 15.
