State Deputy Elect’s Acceptance Speech

To All Worthy Bro, Knights in Saskatchewan State,

It is my greatest delight for the trust and faith you bestowed in me as the incoming State Deputy of the State Council of the Knights of Columbus here in Saskatchewan jurisdiction for the year 2024 – 2025 Fraternal Year.

With all the opportunities and challenges that come with my acceptance to serve us all, I want to congratulate first all State Officers-elect:
● Our new State Secretary Bro. Greg Dozorec
● Our new State Treasurer Bro. Agnel George
● Our new State Advocate Bro. Dale Meier
● And welcome, our new State Warden Bro. Thomas Schwab

I believe that this journey will not be as smooth if I am to walk it alone without them.

Also, I will take this opportunity to announce to all of you that in the next Fraternal year 2024-2025 we will have a State Chaplain and 2 Associate State Chaplains from 3 different dioceses.
● Worthy State Chaplain Fr. Ed Gibney from Biggar
● Worthy Associate Chaplain Fr. Bernabe Milan Sajonas from Battleford
● Worthy Associate Chaplain Fr. Warren Dungen from Regina

I truly believe, that together, they would bring the power to change the atmosphere in Saskatchewan State Council by their presence, the unconscious influence that makes Jesus Christ and spiritual things real to all of us.

Now, I commit myself that achievements in the future can never be measured by the quality of speeches we make, but by the vigour we put in our resolve to improve the faith of all Bro. Knights that sent us here.

I am sure that this is not necessarily a moment to celebrate, but a moment to gather more strength and drive in preparation to continue in our journey to deliver on our mandate of a better life for all, under our Catholic Faith.

Again, Thank you, thank you, my Bro. Knights!

Myself and my wife Lorelie were honoured and will be humble to serve you all.

VIVAT JESUS!
Bro. Marte Clemente Nogot
State Deputy-elect – Saskatchewan State
