Sask K of C Wheelchair Project – April 2019

Brothers

I would like to give you an update on our state wheelchair projects.

This has been a great year for us. Three car loads have been ordered and have been or will be delivered to people to help them live a better life through independence.

The first car we ordered this year was delivered to Saskatoon for distribution in Saskatchewan and Canada. Forty one of the sixty ordered for Saskatchewan have been delivered to different councils throughout the province. Twenty two of the forty chairs for Canada have been spoken for but not delivered yet.

Councils or members that would like to purchase one of the 19 chairs left should act quickly.

$225.00 puts a chair in your church, school, nursing home or maybe town hall. For anyone in your community to borrow and use.

Attached is a picture of SD Chris Bencharski and Council 8215 GK Rolland LaFleche taking delivery of the chair purchased for Cathedral of the Holy Family in Saskatoon.

The Second Car load ordered and paid for will be sent to Poland. These chairs should be distributed in Poland with the knights of Poland and possibly some Knights from Manitoba and us by July.

The third car is just in the final stages of being ordered for Columbia to be delivered end of November.
