Father Kunka Council #6594, partnering with the Sask KofC Charitable Foundation, has made donations of $1000.00 each to four area schools. These donations help fund school breakfast and snack programs for elementary students. It’s hard to learn when students are hungry. Some students do not bring lunch and rely upon the generosity of teachers or poorly funded school lunch programs. The Knights of Columbus, in our communities, have stepped in to fill some of that need. Thanks go to the James and Lawrence Meier Grants and the Deschreyver Family Grants for helping us with this program.
